Straw Painted Christmas Tree Craft
Supplies Needed:
- Paints (tempera, acrylic or liquid watercolor)
- Paint Brush
- Gems
- Glue
- Glitter (optional)
- Straw
- Water
- scissors
- misc. embellishments (such as present stickers, ect..)
- Yellow construction paper
- Canvas panel or (illustration board, poster board, card stock, watercolor paper or even just standard paper)
Directions:

- Thin your paints down with water until it is really soupy
- Once thinned down drip paint on your canvas
- Let the kids spread the paint around by blowing thru the straw
- If you want glitter sprinkle it on now while the paint is still wet
- Once it is dry then you can add your ornaments by having the kids dip their fingers into different colored paints and dabbing them randomly on the tree
- Glue on your gems randomly for some extra sparkle
- Cut out a star from your yellow construction paper or card stock
- Glue on some cutout presents or stickers
