Instructions:
STEP ONE
Gather all supplies. Remove the metal spring from the wooden clothespins. Line up three full clothespins on your work surface, to create a wedge shape. Attach the wooden clothespin pieces together with a glue gun and glue sticks, using the photo as a template.
STEP TWO
Paint the front and all sides of the clothespin pumpkin pie wedge with burnt orange acrylic craft paint. Set aside to dry. If you don’t have burnt orange acrylic craft paint, mix a bit of brown paint with orange paint to deepen the tone.
STEP THREE
Download, print and cut out the Clothespin Pumpkin Pie Crust Pattern. Trace onto tan craft felt with a black marker. Cut out the crust patterns with scissors, cutting inside the traced lines for a clean, finished project.
STEP FOUR
Attach the felt crust to the bottom of the clothespin pumpkin pie wedge with a glue gun and glue sticks. Apply additional glue to the tops of the clothespins and then fold the scalloped edge up and around to mimic the fluted edge of a pie crust.
STEP FIVE
To finish the Clothespin Pumpkin Pie craft, attach a white pom pom to the top center of the wedge with a glue gun and glue sticks.
