Gingerbread House Christmas Ornament Craft
Supplies needed:
Gingerbread House Template—> gingerbread house ornament template
Brown cardstock
White marker
Stickers
Hole punch
Twine
Scissors
Glue stick
Directions:
Begin by printing the gingerbread house template.
Trace the template on brown cardstock. Use a white marker to outline the edges.
Also use the white marker to draw windows, doors, shingles, and other designs around the house.
Once the house is designed, cut out the house along the lines.
Now, fold the sides in, as well as the end flap. Fold the roof pieces down, too.
Fold the two smaller roof sections into triangles, as well.
Then go along the sides, gluing the sides of the roof together.
At the end, glue the end flap to the last section.
And glue the top of the roof together, as well.
Next, punch a hole through the top of the two roof sections.
Cut a piece of twine. Guide through the hole and tie in a loop.
Finally, use festive stickers to further decorate your gingerbread house ornament before hanging on the tree.
