Handprint Christmas Tree craft
This is a super quick and easy Christmas craft idea for most all ages, the kids had a blast making them and it made for a great keepsake for years to come. We added a ribbon to the back of ours and made tree ornaments with them <3
Materials:
- Green craft foam
- Chenille stems (we choose a glitter one)
- Pom poms (misc. sizes and colors) or buttons
- Toilet paper roll (paint or color a darker brown)
- Yellow star (we had some glitter craft foam that worked great)
- Scissors
- Glue
Directions:
- Trace child’s hand onto green craft foam
- cut out handprint
- Have the kids glue on a chenille stem for garland
- Glue on some pom poms or buttons for ornaments
- Glue on a yellow star
- Cut 2 slits in the top of a toilet paper roll (cut in half if too large)
- Slide your handprint into the slits on your toilet paper roll
- Optional – add a ribbon to the back to make into a Christmas ornament
