DIY Halloween Apothecary Jars
Materials:
- Misc. sized jars and wine glasses
- Black Spray paint
- Krylon Looking Glass spray paint HERE or HERE
- Spanish Moss HERE or HERE
- Vinegar and spray bottle
- Hemp cording
- Hot glue and glue gun
- Modge podge or Deco Podge
- Paint Brush
- Apothecary Labels Find some HERE
Directions:
- Spray the Inside of your jars/ bottles with your looking glass spray
- While the spray is still slightly wet, spritz some vinegar onto it. The vinegar will make it streaked and spotted.
- When the spray and vinegar are dry spray over the top of it on the inside still with black spray paint (the black will show through in many areas where the vinegar spotted and ran your looking glass spray, giving it a creepy and older look
- Cut out and deco podge on the to the outside of your jar your labels (be sure to only apply the deco podge to the area you want your label, wipe off any excess on the glass)
- Hot glue on some hemp cord or spanish moss around the tops of your jars or stems of your wine glasses
- Add any other embellishments you desire (spiders, snakes, ect..)
