Pool Noodle Stick Horse &
Pool Noodle Unicorns
Materials:
- Pool noodle (I found mine at the dollar store)
- Large Knee Socks HERE
- Ribbon
- Large Wiggle eyes
- Multi colored yarn
- Hot glue and glue gun
- Scissors
- Buttons
- Craft Felt
- Large Hair bows (optional) HERE
- Unicorn horn Hair hair band (optional) HERE
Directions:

- Lay out your sock next to your pool noodle and measure about how far down until the heal piece is
- Cut a slit in the noodle part of the way through at the heal (be careful not to cut all the way through)(this makes it so the noodle will bend at the cut)
- Roll your sock onto your pool noodle
- Bend your pool noodle at the heal piece/ slit in the noodle
- Glue a piece of ribbon around the noodle – about 2-3″ up from the small section of noodle
- Glue another piece of ribbon at one side of the wrapped piece of ribbon and loop the ribbon around to the other side making reigns for your horse and glue in place
- Glue a button to each side where your ribbon/ reigns attach
- Glue on 2 each large wiggle eyes or button eyes if you desire
- Take your yarn and cut several pieces (appx 12″ long) and tie them together about 3″ down
- Glue your bundle of ribbons to the top of your horse head
- Glue a small bow-tie part of the way down on the front of your noodle for a boy horse and glue either a large hair bow or a unicorn horn for the girl horses
- Cut out of felt small ears for your horses and glue on
