Spinning Paper Plate Turkeys

Materials:

1. Paper plates
2. Fall colored craft paints
3. Paint brush
4. Scissors
5. Brass fastener
6. Construction paper
7. Wiggle eyes
8. Glue

Directions

1. 1. take your first paper plate and paint it with swirls of different fall colors
   2. take your second paper plate, find the center and make a small hole
   3. next cut out your turkey feathers just above your hole (be sure to not cut to close to your center)
   4. when the first plate is dry find the center and make a small hole in it as well
   5. overlap both plates and connect in the center through the 2 hoes useing your brass fastener
   6. cut out your turkey body and glue the bottom half in the middle of your plate over your brass fastener but be careful to glue only around the brass fastener.
   7. add wiggle eyes, feet, ect to your turkey
   8. once everything is dry you can spin the bottom plate to show different colors and feather designs
   9. have fun!
