Sensory bottles have always been fun ideas so i wanted to make one for Addie to play with, but i wanted to stay cheap and easy. I took an old water bottle and filled it with dollar store body wash so it would give it a gel like suspension but still be thin enough for the items to move around in, then added things i had lying around such as different beads, glitter, and gem stones. It worked out pretty good but i would recommend leaving out the glitter just because i found that it hides a lot of the items that where in the bottle. Note: Hot glue the lid down when you complete your bottle, so the child cannot open the bottle, also i would not leave a young child unattended while playing with the bottle just in case the bottle breaks open.
