Easter Straw Painted Baby Chick Hand Print Craft

Supplies Used: Acrylic Paint (yellow and orange), straw, glue, 2 wiggle eyes, paint brush, and canvas.

If you have never done straw painting it is very easy and fun. Start by watering down your paints to a soupy consistency, also wet your canvas down as well this helps the paint to move around easily. Next drip your paint onto the canvas and start blowing thru your straw and move the paint around the canvas (kids love this part). Once we had our desired look we let the paint dry, then we went back and added the hand prints for the feathers and painted in the legs. Glue on your eyes and flower or bow if desired. Simple and fun Easter craft.
